Big Red, a blind and matted senior pup, was originally dumped in someone’s backyard and spent 6 months in Helotes Humane Society foster care without any applications.
Then the team at KENS 5 & Kens5.com discovered Big Red’s story and featured him on their “Forgotten Friends” segment— and the apps came pouring in.
His new family absolutely adores him and count themselves lucky to of been chosen as Big Red’s FURever home. They are looking into the possibility of cataracts surgery so he can gain his vision back!
The Lucy’s Team cherishes the core value of continuing Lucy’s legacy of giving back to pups in need and were elated when Big Red’s Dad reached out to us.
Big Red visited us for a therapeutic massage bath and groom, and in return, he absolutely stole our hearts! Our amazing groomer, Kris at the 1604 location, volunteered her time and talent to give back to this pup in need. Furthermore, Big Red will receive
FREE BATHS FOR LIFE and FREE GROOMS for the next year!!
