My two dogs stayed for 7 days and shared a luxury suite. I was so grateful to be able to check in on them through the doggy cams—it gave me such peace of mind while we were away! They were well cared for, and I loved being able to see them enjoying their stay. Highly recommend!

We cannot more highly recommend folks at Lucy‘s for your dogs care. We actually only had our dog there for one day, just to have a safe place to be and socialize with other dogs while we got to enjoy the city. The folks were great and they didn’t even charge a thing! Heather recommend if you want to enjoy your time in San Antonio. It’s a great way to have some freedom. Five stars for these guys.

We brought our two dogs to Lucy‘s while vacationing in San Antonio. It came highly recommended. We could not have been happier with Lucy’s. At first, when we drove up we were kind of intimidated because it’s a large pack, but our dogs integrated instantly and they had a busy day and came home very tired. Everybody was very friendly. I love that I could watch them online from the cameras. I wish we had something like this locally.

We were visiting San Antonio for a vacation. We brought our dogs along. We received the recommendation of Lucy‘s Downtown as a daycare. I can’t speak highly enough of the convenience. It was kind of intimidating driving up and seeing all the dogs at the gate but once our dogs were integrated, it was kind of neat to see them all as one big pack. My dogs were very happy, they worked off a lot of energy. Brought them in twice and were very happy both times. I appreciated the fact that I was able to set up the paperwork online before we even came to San Antonio and it was so easy to just drop in with them when we needed to. We loved the live WebCams. It helped ease our fears. We highly recommend Lucy‘s.

I’m a helicopter dog mom that rarely leaves my dog anywhere. On the few occasions that I’ve had to leave my dog here because of a trip, I always feel extremely comfortable knowing she will be in great hands. I refuse to let anyone else (aside from my mom) watch her. Great place and people, and awesome communication.

I LOVE this place. We are new to San Antonio and were very nervous to board our four babies. We took a chance and just went and dropped them off. When I tell you that we were WORRY FREE during our mini vacation was an understatement. We will definitely be back! Not just for the daycare and boarding but also the grooming. My pups never looked this clean and smelling good! They were able to handle my 124lbs full of attitude husky and his 3 sidekicks 😆. THANK YOU to the staff! Y’all are amazing!!

A little on the pricier side, but worth it! Hands-down, the best groomer I’ve been to in San Antonio. My dog has a lot of separation anxiety, but she always looks forward to going to Lucy‘s and he’s always so happy afterwards. I haven’t seen her that happy from any other groomer.

I took my dog there for overnight boarding and it was her first time boarding. It was an urgent boarding, but staff got back to me very quickly regarding processing her medical records and profile on their website. Once there, the staff got her acclimated to the dog park/daycare and were very communicative over text! The facilities were large and very well kept. Tons of space for all sizes of dogs. The kennels/boarding rooms were clean and cozy. I loved getting to watch my dog on the webcams while I was gone. My dog was so sleepy and calm once I got her back, which for her is a sure sign that she got tons of activity and interaction. The prices were also very reasonable! I love that they take foster dogs and showcase their profiles at the front desk. All of the staff I interacted with were incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend this business for boarding or daycare!

We recently boarded our 14 yr old puppy with Lucy’s. They took such great care of him. Providing us with detailed updates and ended his stay with a bath. San Antonio received freezing weather and Lucy’s made sure to send notification they would ensure pets at their facility were safe. I can’t thank this crew enough. We were visiting San Antonio and needed a couple days of doggy day care. We couldn't be more pleased with the service. The longer hours they are open was perfect. No need to worry about rushing back. Our dog is older and nervous around other dogs. They kept him separated and he was calm when we picked him up. The price was reasonable. We would recommend this place to everybody.

Great prices and my dog Roux always looks and smells great after Lucy’s grooming. We use Lucy’s for boarding when out of town. Roux’s our only dog and always has a great time and loves going there to play with other dogs.

I wish every location had a self service option, because the loop 1604 location is closer to me, and has a better parking situation, HOWEVER, driving downtown, and the price was totally worth it.
The work area was clean, and well stocked with shamp, cond, ear cleaner, brushes, cologne, etc. Kale and Vick were very helpful, patient, and answered all my stupid questions. I never felt rushed, and I was there for like three hours.
The water pressure and professional dryer were perfect for helping me shed some excess undercoat, which is a really big deal, because I've been grooming at home, and felt I couldn't get the professional clean like from a groomer. Like, I felt like my dog changed colors, this was perfect for us.

The UI to create an account online needs a little work. It is not streamlined for convenience when a new customer needs to create it right in the lobby, with a nervous dog in tow, because it asks for so much info from you right off the bat. In a perfect world companies would not ask for so much personal info but alas...

Anyway, I'll still probably come back!

My son & I took our little furries to the downtown location to use the self washing facilities. We went after a fun time at a local doggie park. It was great & they provide everything towels, soap, conditioner, ear cleaning solution, brushes blow dryer, nail trimmers & a cool apron so we didn't get soaked. The counter guy was super cool & the place was clean. A bit pricey for self service but I'd do it again. I wish the 1604 location offered this service. We'll be back.

They are considerate and kind and you can tell they really love dogs. Our pet had a great day at this day care and we will take him there again for sure. It was ouut first time and we could see our baby on the cameras and when we called to check on him everyone was friendly and patient. Recommend.

The online booking process and staff communication are exceptional.

I have used this Lucy’s location for both boarding and grooming on multiple occasions with wonderful experiences for all. For boarding, the price is very reasonable and they take great care of your dog. There are cameras where you can watch them while you’re away, and they have play time with other dogs during the day so they are not trapped in a kennel for however many days you’re away. Once, I dropped my dog off there while I went on vacation for a week and they called and told me she had lost weight and asked if I wanted to make changes to her diet! I didn’t know they did weigh ins for dogs and this also alerted me that when I dropped my dog off she was overweight! Accidentally had her on a crash diet (ie her normal portion of food, no extra) for a few days and the weight she had dropped to was her normal weight lol. This showed me that the staff are attentive and that if things are awry they will inform you. The grooming experience is also lovely and I’ve never had a bad groom experience with them or any clipper injuries.

My pup loved it. Clean facility amazing staff. Not to mention you can watch your dog on their live video cameras on the site. I will definitely take him there again.

Since it was my first time, the doggie daycare visit was complimentary. Love it!!! In the future the cost will be $27 for half day (7:00 AM- 3:00 PM). I will definitely use this facility in the future.

I’ve been coming to Lucy’s for about 3 years now for doggy day care and grooming, first at downtown location and then 1604 location. The staff always takes great care of my Charlie and I can’t express my gratitude enough. Special shout out to the groomers as well, they are able to trim my dog’s nails when he barely lets me do it at home.

They did an amazing groom on my fur baby Pepper! I always ask for a teddy bear round face and everyone always gives him a square instead but Lucy’s Doggy Daycare and Spa actually gave him what I asked for. I was also expecting them to have to do a full shave down from matting but they managed to leave a good amount of length and rounded his cut out perfectly! Definitely will be returning 🙂

Staff is great at what they do - they took care of my dog and I was worry free! Hats off to Lucy's doggie daycare - I've tried boarding elsewhere and did not like it at all. At Lucy's, my pet was happy and we even got a report card (included at no extra charge).

What a great kennel! My son was driving from El Paso to Houston and spent a night in San Antonio to break up the drive. Lucy's fixed us up with boarding on just one day's notice--they checked his dog's shots very quickly, and the webcam gave my son great peace of mind. My sweet Reba had a great first day experience at Lucy’s. We moved across the country and based on her previous daycare standards, San Antonio would have big shoes to fill. Lucy’s did not disappoint! Within a few minutes of her first day, I received a call stating that my girl was running around like she’d been there for years, making friends and smiling like it was Christmas morning!

This is our second time boarding at Lucy’s 1604. I particularly love that we can view our pets personal suite and the play areas during their stay. The cost is reasonable for what is provided and the care they give including making sure one of our dogs received her daily medication. Lucy’s is a great option!

My puppy went there for a doggy daycare and seemed to like it. I know he was a bit apprehensive at first, but then he started playing and having a good time. Staff were OK with me calling to get the updates about him. We will definitely go back there soon. Ziggy approves.

I was impressed by how organized and professional everything is—drop-off and pick-up are simple, the facility is spotless, and safety is clearly a top priority.

I especially appreciate the live cameras so I can peek in and see my dog having a blast with new friends. It’s such a relief knowing she’s not just being cared for, but genuinely enjoying her time. We also tried grooming during her stay, and she came home looking great, smelling fresh, and even had a cute little bow.

My dog it’s a pretty anxious dog around stranger and around dogs . But I was so surprised when I pick him up and he wasn’t in a rush to leave the establishment. I’m so happy with the service, with the cameras I was able to keep an eye on him. And I noticed how much the staff loves dogs. And that all I want for my dog, to be love and have fun.

I have a long haired German Shepherd and Lucy's always do a fantastic job with maintenance groom. I make sure I bring him once a month to trim up the hair on his paws and sanitary areas. He is not the friendliest dog, will only let the female bathe him and I've never had issues with them accommodating this. Can't recommend enough.

Having just moved back from the Pacific Northwest, we were a bit anxious about finding a new daycare for our Black Lab, Sage. Back home, we had a trusted spot, so the bar was set pretty high.

Our daughter recommended Lucy’s Doggy Daycare & Spa, where she takes her own dog, and she thought we’d love it. Yesterday, we scheduled a partial day for Sage as a trial—and we were seriously impressed.

We recently started using Lucy's for their interactive daycare program, and Link always comes home tired and happy. He's even started to recognize Saturdays as his special daycare days. We just finished using their boarding services, and I love being able to check the camera to see how he's doing.

Lucy’s provides great care for my pal Radar!! They just don’t care for him - they care about him. They communicate with me if he has any issues and respond to my texts about how he’s doing. If I am concerned about anything, they care about my concerns. If, for example, he has to go indoors for a time because he overheats (yep, they watch for that) or because he is too rambunctious, they text me or call me. If I text back, they respond. Again, Arfin Awesome service. And, no, I receive nothing in exchange for this review. I’m just a happy pawrent.

First time using Lucy’s. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and provide great customer/dog service. Facility is clean, well maintained, and I truly appreciate the thoroughness of vaccine requirements so dogs can interact with one another. The cameras across the facility are super helpful to watch your dog both while kenneled, and interacting with other dogs and staff. Grooming and mail,clipping was well done, and got a bonus bow for our Scout and she got a bath and groomed. Great experience, great service, great facility.

Great job with grooming and keeping my pup happy

I was very nervous about bringing my dog to any boarding facility. I’ve seen countless number of reviews and horror stories about boarding/daycare. But after i trusted Lucy’s with two of my dogs it was probably the best thing for them. Our dogs are rescues so they can be a little bit skittish. But the entire staff made them feel safe and made sure they were always having a fun time. They always had something to do and weren’t locked up in their crates all day. My pups, Josh and Bindi had a blast and are begging to go back. The staff (specifically jordan) made it clear that our dogs were part of their family. 10/10

Our dogs Nala & Willie have been going there on and off for over a year, and we always use Lucy’s to board them when we vacation. The staff is super friendly, always informative if something happens while the pups are there & if there is ever any issue, they are always curious and do what they can to help out! Love that there are cameras to watch our pups play when we miss them! Highly recommend Lucy’s Thousand Oaks location!

Took my 13 year old pup for her first Spa Day and she came back softer and just brighter looking than she had in a long time. She was happy, she smelled amazing and it was nice treating my best friend.

I cannot suggest Lucy's enough. I'd heard of them for years but there was a closer dog daycare that I frequented. Well, they lost their groomer so I decided to try the nearest Lucy's and I'm so friggin' glad that I did.

The onboarding process was seamless. It's really easy to create a profile and upload vaccination records to their portal. You can also use it to schedule services.

I was able to select the groomer for my dog, the date of service, and time. It was so easy!

When we arrived they have the option for you to text the front desk and someone will come get your dog from your car. Or you can walk in. I got a chance to talk through the grooming service with the groomer and that helped a lot since it was our first time.

I got updates throughout the day about how my dog was doing. Pickup was a breeze. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

If you're worried about leaving your fur baby somewhere, I assure you those worries aren't warranted. The staff here are exemplary. They really care, they're incredibly competent, and they're running a well-oiled machine.

Lucy’s Doggie Daycare on Thousand Oaks is nothing short of awesome!

All my dogs have been boarded here. They do a great job and informs you right away if there’s a problem like if your dog vomits food. I’m glad they offer a mini groom as I only need the hind legs of my dog groomed.

My daughter took her baby here and they were amazing. Cake is a rescue who was new to this. She was treated like a princess and loved it. They did a great job and Cake came back looking and smelling amazing and had treats. Would love ❤️ 😍 everyone to try this place out to pamper your baby as well. They also have boarding as well. All the dogs we saw were having a blast.

Grooming is excellent! They always take good care of my dogs.

Dropped off my dog for a day while we were in town for the weekend. Staff took great care of him. He's a large breed and they had PLENTY of space for him to run around. The live webcams are great to check in on him. Would definitely return if we are in town again.

My Boston Terrier absolutely loves this place. The staff are wonderful and I love being able to check in on the webcams!

They take great care of my little furry ones. Staff are awesome and clearly enjoy the pets. Our one rescue dog can be very nervous of humans, but he is made to feel very safe. He is not afraid of the staff here because they know how to treat pups & have built that trust. We are very happy with our experiences.

I went here for the first time to get my dogs nails trimmed. I was nervous because he is so afraid of places like this but the staff here was so amazing with him and they did such a great job

Love Lucy’s! Been taking my dog here since he was a puppy and they’re always accommodating. I normally walk in for a nail trim, teeth brush and/or an ear clean- and they’re always happy to take care of it! Highly reccomend this location!

This was the first time boarding our 4 fur babies. I called around for prices and what experience my pets would have. Paws down Lucy’s was the best price and experience! They kept me informed on any concerns they had while I was gone and I could watch my pets through the webcam. I highly recommend Lucy’s all the way!!

We just picked up our 3 dogs from the Lucy’s on Thousand Oaks. They were all damp because they had been playing outside. When they had any concerns they did text me. We will take our puppies back Arfin Awesome

Charlie has been seeing Lisa since we adopted him a few years ago. She does a great job with him and takes her time. We will always recommend Lisa.

This was our first time with Lucy's Daycare, and we were very impressed with the staff and facility. I had so many questions and everyone I spoke to was so understanding and helpful. Definitely will board my dogs again at Lucy's.

They are the best for our dogs grooming. But was floored when we were informed of the massive price increase that we will be charged. So after many years of going to Lucy’s we are going to find another groomer that is in our budget. A shame.

I just want to give a special thank you for the unconditional love and care you give my dog Roo! You guys go above and beyond and accommodate to her needs due to her being deaf. Roo always comes home happy as can be from daycare and has truly blossomed with confidence since going to Lucy’s! We look forward to being a customer for many years to come!

Pups seem to love getting dropped off here in the morning! The scheduling system and webcams are both great. I don’t think we could ask for anything better from a dog daycare.

Thou-Oaks is awesome

We love this location. Our Boston has a great time and we feel very comfortable leaving him for the day, and even for a week for a vacation he couldn't attend!

I have taken our chow to Lucy’s on Thousand Oaks twice and when we leave, I can tell she is feeling herself! She struts around, not at all like when she is needing a bath!

Mary Royal has been grooming my Australian Labradoodle for 6 years! He loves her so much! When he hears her name he runs to the door ready to go jump on her table! He always looks fantastic and is so soft when she is done grooming him! The front desk staff are all very friendly and quick to address any issues! The scheduling team is really good at returning calls and working around my schedule! I don’t use the day care services but I haven’t seen any problems when I am there to drop off/pick up my dog.

My pup was only there for a grooming, but she was very happy and well taken care of. The staff were friendly and helpful. After visiting the facility and meeting the employees, I think the location would also be a good option for any doggy daycare needs.

My dogs love going to Lucy’s! The baths they give are first class. Staff is very friendly. They have great luxury suites for boarding. That is great because my Bulldogs love to be together in the same suite (with live video coverage). They have the best outdoor playground I’ve ever seen. Pick up and drop off always goes well, and there is a short wait before the Lucy’s team come out to be of service to help. Snoopy and Charlie Brown give Lucy’s baths 2 paws up!

They do everything here daycare, boarding and grooming and you can’t not love the way they care for your furry family members! Rascal and Ranger LOVE them.
