Meet our TWO new Foster Pups!! WE are super excited to introduce Nova and Zoe. We are fostering these fur babies through God’s Dogs Rescue. If you are interested in meeting one of these precious girls, please visit God’s Dogs Rescue.

Nova is sure to light up your life with her shining spirit of joy! This baby was rescued by Animal Care Services as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. The Lucy’s Downtown Team saw her on the ACS’ call for help list since the shelter was at maximum capacity, so they jumped into action and picked her up to give her a new lease on life. She has never met a stranger because she loves everyone she meets and is eager to cover you in kisses. Nova is a Labrador retriever mix and around 2 years old. She is 62 lbs and not expected to grow anymore. This bright shining star loves all pups and humans of all ages and will have your hearts orbiting over the moon for her! She is up to date on all her vaccines and spayed. She is currently being fostered and cared for at our Downtown location and undergoing treatment for heartworms. Once she is clear of heartworms, she will return to interactive play in our park with all her FURiends while she awaits her FURever family. Nova has a heart the size of a galaxy and will be such an awesome addition to anyone’s family!

Zoe is such a precious, gorgeous pup with two toned eyes and dark brindle fur. She is very bashful when you first meet her, but our 1604 Team is giving her lots of love and attention to help her blossom into a social butterfly. She likes to take her time to get to know you, but if you have treats she is willing to hear you out!. Zoe loves to catch some zoomies in the yard and knows the command “sit” very well. This fur baby is up to date on all vaccines and was recently spayed. Once she has recovered, she will be evaluated for interactive play as she seems interested in the other pups when passing by them.
